Hyson’s Hollow Square Steel Moulds are engineered specifically to eliminate this bottleneck. Fabricated in our 20,000 sqm Nantong facility, we don't just weld steel boxes. We design a precision tool. Depending on the block size, we implement carefully calculated taper angles (drafts) or mechanical collapsible inner cores. This allows the inner mold to shrink away from the cured concrete, meaning your crew can strip the mold in minutes, not hours, keeping your breakwater project running ahead of schedule.

Why Precast Yards Prefer Hyson Molds

  • The "Smart Release" Inner Core: Our biggest advantage. We use a hinged or wedge-driven collapsible inner mechanism. Before lifting, the inner core slightly contracts inwards, breaking the vacuum and friction. The crane lifts it out effortlessly.
  • Heavy-Duty Rigidity: Coastal concrete is dense and requires intense vibrator compaction. We use Q235B/Q345B steel plates reinforced with dense channel steel ribs (typically 8mm-10mm). The mold won't bulge, ensuring every block stacks perfectly on the seawall.
  • Machined Edges for Zero Leakage: Grout leakage at the bottom or corners ruins the block's integrity and exposes rebar to saltwater corrosion. We CNC-machine the connecting flanges and use integrated rubber sealing strips to guarantee a watertight pour.
  • Foolproof Assembly: Designed with strategically placed lifting lugs and high-strength pin/bolt connections, your ground crew can assemble the outer shell quickly and safely without hammering pieces into alignment.
